This is a newly discovered trekking route in the Annapurna Region to promote sustainable Eco-Tourism in Nepal.

Mohare trekking is very popular and known as an eco-community lodge.  It is the best choice for enthusiastic travelers who have a short time to explore Nepal's unlimited cultural and natural beauty.

A trip to the beautiful off-beaten site of the Annapurna region, bounded by hills, farming traces, river forests of oak and bamboo, and pine, is truly an incredible experience. However, the Mohare Dada trek provides breathtaking views of the massive Mount Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalaya Ranges from Mohare hill station at an elevation of 3,300m from Sea level.

Finally, Mohare Danda Trekking is not as popular as other Annapurna base camp Treks or Ghorepani poon hill Treks, but for those who want to explore peace and locally introduce it will be nice and the best. So choose this trek for the best scenery and peacefully stay.

Mohare Danda Trek Route

The Mohara Danda Trekking route is a new destination for travelers. Nowadays, it is commonly known as the Annapurna Dhaulagiri community trail or community eco-lodge trek in Nepal.

The Mohare Danda Trekking Trail concept was introduced by Mahabir Pun, a pioneer who implemented wireless technology in Nepal. On this trek, you will get the opportunity to enjoy the unspoiled and pristine environments, and local lodges, and stay with local families. They share vibrant surroundings, a way of life, and culture.

Mohare Danda Trek trail is becoming much more popular day by day and it has been a different attraction with local villages and the High Himalayas including Dhaulagiri Region Trek and Annapurna Region. While you planned for trekking the path always follows up and down in the hilly region of Nepal Himalayas.

The Mohare Danda trek is suitable for all categories of hikers and first-time trekkers. It is of low to medium grade, hence it is suitable for people of all ages, kids, adults, and elderly alike, who have some previous hiking experience. The entire trek can be completed within 10 days, although some trekkers choose to take more days and explore the Annapurna region.

Difficulty

The difficulty level of Mohare Danda Trek is moderate and it varies depending upon the skills and abilities of the trekkers.  For Beginners, the trek is relatively easy and comfortable, with a reasonable level of fitness required, but all the trails are full of beautiful landscapes and views.

On the other hand, experienced trekkers can find the Annapurna region trek more challenging, this trek heads up to the Ghorepani poon hill trek too. as the ascents and descents on the trails are incredibly steep. Walking along the ridges with a deep valley on either side can be nerve-wracking for experienced trekkers and makes for a difficult and risky adventure.

Weather conditions at higher altitudes can also be difficult to manage, being blessed with a huge dose of snow, and the region can be quite cold during winter and rainy during the monsoon season. Other than that, other times are perfect for Mohare Danda Trekking.

Best Time

The best time of the year for the Mohara Danda trek in Nepal is spring and autumn. This time of the year there are clear skies, very little chance of rain, and a comfortable temperature. Spring time from March to May and in Autumn from September to mid-December. If you plan to trek in the winter months, be prepared with warmer layers. If you hike during the summer (monsoon) months, be sure you have to take waterproof layers.

We know that it is not always possible to trek within a reasonable time frame. But if you are interested to do Nepal Trekking, you can come and do some short trekking like Mardi Himal Trek, Ghorepani poon hill trek, upper mustang trek, lower mustang trek, and some day hikes around the city. That’s why make a plan as you have time, but prepare the necessary gear and some energy bars in case there is no tea house stop available.

Food and Accommodation

During the Mohare Danda Trek, food and accommodation are common that you can find in Nepal, there are some basic accommodations, deluxe accommodations, and Luxury accommodations available.. while you are trekking to the Annapurna region You will be staying in remote rural villages. building materials must sometimes be carried by human beings or donkeys because there is no available road.

If you are a slow traveler, it will be easy till the 6 to 8 members. If you have a bigger trekking group it will likely be split into two and will share the room with another person. The rooms are simple and just 2 single beds in each room.

If you want a king-sized bed, you have to push them or ask a hotel person to join together to keep warm together. Toilets are also shared because there are outside toilets for all people.

Annapurna Region Food

Trekking food in Nepal is very heavy. Your meal option will consist of rice, Pasta, Lentils, Potatoes, rice, Dumplings, Chawmain (Noodles), and many other foods.  As you can imagine in high-altitude remote villages, they have to make the ingredients they have easy to excess. you can test the best food and accommodation in the Annapurna region.

That’s why it is easy to understand why there is not a ton of variety of food. There will also be a meet available, but while you are going high up for trekking it's better to suggest not eating meat. When you reach your destination on the way back you can have any kind of food it is available on your trekking path.
